This course will focus on the basic skills of horsemanship and grooming, with a strong emphasis on safety. Students will have the choice of riding English or western style. Instruction will lead to a ride in a group environment meant to test your newly acquired horsemanship skills.
- For ages 7-18
- $199 price includes the use of equipment and horse, T-shirt, camp photo, and all supplies.
- Jeans or long pants and smooth-soled shoes with half-inch heel required.
- ASTM/SEI riding helmets are provided.
- Campers must provide their own snacks.
- Meet at Texas Rose Horse Park, 14078 State Hwy 110N.
